WHAT IS REVIVE MODE® AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
When Revive Mode® is switched on, it activates our proprietary Axial Vibration™ technology which vibrates the plates on your Cloud Nine straightener 8,000 times per minute. This intelligent technology minimises friction, drag, and exposure to direct heat while the plates glide through your hair – delivering maximum shine and protection every time you style.

1. All glide, no pull
Revive Mode® is powered by Axial Vibration™ technology which, once activated, vibrates the plates of your Cloud Nine straightener at 8,000 times per minute. This ensures your hair is fed smoothly between the plates, minimising friction and pull. Paired with our mineral-infused Spring-Flex™ plates, Revive Mode® prevents the plates from clamping down while you style, through – handling your hair gently and achieving a glossy, smooth finish.
2. Even heat distribution
When you activate Revive Mode®, the vibrating plates move up and down to distribute heat evenly across your hair, preventing the hot spots that often exist in other ceramic straighteners. This intelligent design prevents the clamping and clasping that static plates can often cause, helping to banish inconsistent heat transfer and therefore unnecessary hair damage.
Working together with your straightener’s mineral-infused plates, activating Revive Mode® means you won’t need to go over the same sections of your hair multiple times to achieve a healthy style. HOW DO YOU SWITCH ON REVIVE MODE®?
If you have one of our newest irons, Revive Mode® will automatically turn on, but if not, you can activate the technology by following the steps below.
To activate Revive Mode®:
- Make sure your straighteners are switched on by long pressing the ON/OFF button. You’ll find it opposite the digital display, below the plates.
- Short press the ON/OFF button to turn on Revive Mode®.
- When Revive Mode® is activated, the LED lights on the outer casing will come on. The plates on your straightener will vibrate every time you press them together.
- Adjust the temperature control to your ideal heat setting. If you’re not sure what this is, use our Temperature Calculator. Most of our straighteners allow you to select between 100°C and 200°C – Revive Mode® can be used across all temperatures.
- After styling, deactivate Revive Mode® by short pressing the ON/OFF button again.
- Long-press the ON/OFF button to turn off your straighteners.
