If you buy items from overseas for over NZ$1000, we collect GST and/or Duty and you must apply for a Customs Number. More details can be found on the New Zealand Customs website.

All CLOUD NINE products come with a standard warranty that lasts from the day you buy for one year. You can extend Iron and Wand* warranties to three years if you register your product within 14 days of purchase.

An issue within the warranty period? We'll repair or replace your product for free. For problems outside of warranty, contact our Customer Experience Team through our Help Centre for advice on next steps. Please note that if you haven’t registered your Iron or Wand for extended warranty, we can't honour the extended warranty.

*Excludes The Original Cordless Iron which has only a 1 year warranty and a 6 month warranty for the battery.

TIP - start at one corner of the digital pad and gently lift it with your fingernail. Once you have a small section lifted, the film will come away easily and in one piece. Please see video for guidance.

To get the best results from your new Cloud Nine straightener:

1: Spritz clean, dry, detangled hair with Cloud Nine Magical Quick Dry Potion heat protectant spray.

2: Plug in and switch on your Contouring Original Iron. Feel Revive Mode® activate automatically – there's no need to press a button. The gentle vibration minimises your hair’s direct contact with heat to promote long-term hair health.

3: Consult the Cloud Nine Temperature Calculator to find your perfect heat, then select the right temperature on your Original Iron – choose from 11 settings to reduce the damage caused by excessive heat.

4: To straighten with your Contouring Original Iron, smooth the cushioned styling plates through a section of your hair from root to tip in one fluid movement. There’s no need to pause – our Sericite®-infused styling plates distribute heat evenly for consistent shine. Repeat for all sections of hair.

To curl with your Contouring Original Iron:
Position a section of hair between the curved plates and rotate away from the face, using the rounded edges to perfect your curl. For big, bouncy curls, use larger sections of hair, or for tighter, springier curls, use smaller sections. For lasting results, pin the curl until fully cool.

To wave with your Contouring Original Iron:
Pointing your straightener downwards, feed larger sections of hair through the plates and rotate the Iron 180°, always working away from the face.

The Contouring Iron comes with universal voltage (100-220V) included, so you can achieve your perfect style from anywhere in the world. Check that the voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds with the local mains supply before connecting the appliance to the mains.

Cloud Nine's Hibernation Mode is a feature of the Contouring Original Iron. After 30 minutes of inactivity, the straightener powers off to protect your surfaces from heat damage for stress-free styling.

Once your Contouring Original Iron is switched on, the digital display indicates the temperature and whether your straightener is heating up or cooling down. To increase or decrease the temperature, press the up or down arrows above the temperature gauge.

Your hair is unique, and so is its perfect styling temperature. The Contouring Original Iron comes with 11 heat settings so you can adjust the temperature and create a bespoke, gentler styling experience.

The plates on the Contouring Original Iron do not touch when placed together. Our floating curved plates are designed with Spring-Flex™ Technology to glide over the hair, ensuring even heat distribution and a smooth, snag-free styling process. This does not impair the straightener’s performance.

Our styling tools help to maintain your hair’s unique strength with kindness. If you show them care in return, they’ll reward you with years of healthy styling.

To store your Contouring Original Iron safely and correctly:

• Keep the plug away from the plates to avoid scratching.

• Do not wrap the cord around your straightener – this can damage it.

• Only put your straightener away when the plates are completely cool.

• When you’re not using your straightener, attach the Protective Heat Guard to shield your surfaces and protect the Sericite®-infused plates from wear.
