Can The Waving Wand be used world-wide?
If you want to use a CLOUD NINE product internationally, all you have to do is use a UK to EU or US adaptor. Please note that our products operate at standard UK voltage (220v – 240v), which means that in countries that use different voltage levels, performance can be affected. To avoid disappointment, we recommend checking your destination’s voltage before you make your trip.

What is the size of the barrel on The Waving Wand?
The barrel is 140mm long and 38mm wide.

How should I store my Waving Wand?
Your CLOUD NINE product will live a long and happy life if you keep an eye on how you store it. Only put your Wand away when the barrel is cool and keep the plug away from the barrel as this can cause scratches. Try not to tightly wrap the cable around your Irons, Wands or Airshots. Instead, gently loop it in the carry case. This greatly reduces the chances of wearing the inner wire, which is important because this kind of damage isn’t covered by warranty. 

Does The Curling Wand have an automatic turn off?
Style easy, after 30 minutes, the wand will start to cool down to protect your surfaces. This is activated by pressing the Auto button. Once active the Auto button will be lit up blue and will cut the temperature to the product after 30 minutes (even if it is still in use). This is because the wand does not have the mechanical function to tell if it is still in use like the Irons.  If you do not want it to go into hibernation mode after 30 minutes you can press the auto button to turn this off. The hibernation mode will not activate at all if this is switched off.

Can I use The Waving Wand on short hair?
The Waving Wand is not recommended for short or collar-length hair, but for mid-length to longer hair. For shorter hair, try our Texture Wand.

What’s the difference between The Curling Wand and The Waving Wand?
The main difference between The Curling Wand and The Waving Wand is the barrel, which can help you achieve different results. While The Curling Wand creates bouncy curls The Waving Wand’s wide barrel creates softer waves.

• North Island (out of Auckland) - 1 to 2 days
• Upper South Island - 2 days
• Lower South Island – 2 to 3 days

If you buy items from overseas for over NZ$1000, we collect GST and/or Duty and you must apply for a Customs Number. More details can be found on the New Zealand Customs website.

All CLOUD NINE products come with a standard warranty that lasts from the day you buy for one year. You can extend Iron and Wand* warranties to three years if you register your product within 14 days of purchase.

An issue within the warranty period? We'll repair or replace your product for free. For problems outside of warranty, contact our Customer Experience Team through our Help Centre for advice on next steps. Please note that if you haven’t registered your Iron or Wand for extended warranty, we can't honour the extended warranty.

*Excludes The Original Cordless Iron which has only a 1 year warranty and a 6 month warranty for the battery.
